new camera -- canon 5D

so excited to get my new camera yesterday!  i wondered around town, to the coffee shop, and back home collecting images and getting a pedicure (the weather was finally nice!)...  

i feel like i need to play with the camera some more, before i learn to love it as much as my 1D Mark II.  the light meter is really off; not sure what to do about that!

stephanie & reese - april 5, 2008

stephanie and reese had hoped for a sunny, warm spring day when they planned their wedding, but it turned out to be rainy, wet and almost cold...

but they made the best of it! the ceremony was held in a church inside, instead of outside under a gazebo, and the rain held off long enough for us to take beautiful pics outside in front of a blooming cherry tree.
