so, i met Cooper's mom, Julie over 4 years ago when i photographed her wedding. i immediately liked her. over the years we've kept in touch (how can you not when you live in Hartwell, right?), but i've always wanted to be better friends. now we both have babies and Honda pilots, so maybe the chances are greater!

the mother of this super cutie is an amateur photographer! Monica was part of one of my photography classes I held at the Y last spring, and I am so glad she and her friends (who were part of the class) still hang out with me! I'm not sure why Monica thought that she couldn't take pics of Kase herself, but I'm sure glad I got to hang out with them!!

Photography Classes

Just wanted to announce that I will be giving a series of basic photography classes starting August 12, 2008!  I've taught several classes over the last few years and really enjoy meeting new photographers and teaching the basic principals of photography (and sometimes, not so basic!).  Details are posted below.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!  

Where: Green Bean Coffee Cafe, Hartwell, GA

When: First Class -- Tuesday, August 12, 2008 -- Classes will be held on a weekly basis for 4 weeks

Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Cost: $75 per person

caitlin and wesley -- june 21

first I need to apologize -- I should have blogged this wedding a long time ago -- now to the pictures/story.

When Caitlin called me the first time, to see if we could meet, she said she hoped that I was available because she had just finished looking at my website and since the pictures I had on it had made her cry, she knew I was the photographer for her! Lucky for me, I was free! Caitlin and Wesley were so busy we were unable to get to the engagement session we wanted to have, so the first time I met Wesley was at the wedding. He and Caitlin are so in love!
I am so glad I got to work with Caitlin and Wesley. Caitlin's happiness was so apparent and you could tell that Wesley would 'dance in the rain' for her (which he did)!

At the very end of things, the sky opened up and just poured on the rain. Caitlin was so excited! With a little pleading, Caitlin had Wesley dancing in the rain with her. Such fun!
